Vestibular/Dizziness Issues

People with vestibular disorders – inner ear dysfunction – frequently experience symptoms of vertigo or dizziness with changes in position of the head or with movements. They may also experience symptoms of unsteadiness or even loss of balance during walking activities.

Part of the evaluation is performed with the use of specialized goggles that digitally record eye movements that may not be seen in room light. Exercises may include particle repositioning maneuvers, gaze stabilization exercises to coordinate eye and head movements, eye movements, visual motion sensitivity training, balance, and conditioning.
