Russell W. Cyphers, D.D.S.

Clinical Care Coordinator

Dr. Cyphers was born and raised in Riverside, California. Upon receiving a B.S. degree in business from Pacific Union College, he spent a year in accounting with Chevron USA, Inc. Subsequently, Dr. Cyphers attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and obtained his D.D.S. degree in 1986. After a year as an associate in Twin Falls, Idaho, Dr. Cyphers entered private practice in Phoenix, Arizona. He maintained his general practice until December 2010. Dr. Cyphers has been an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and Synergy Dental Study Club in Phoenix throughout his career, and served as President of the Arizona Academy of General Dentistry from 2003-2005. He will be awarded AGD Fellowship in 2012. Dr. Cyphers has been serving as an adjunct faculty member at MWU College of Dental Medicine-Arizona since its inception in 2008. In 2010 Dr. Cyphers sold his Phoenix practice to accept the position of Assistant Professor and Clinical Care Coordinator at The Midwestern University Dental Institute.
