Ronald D. Giordan, D.D.S.

Dr. Giordan graduated from Marquette University Dental School in June 1962. After two years in the Navy, he practiced general dentistry for 11 years in Puerto Rico. Dr. Giordan returned to Arizona in 1976, and from 1978 through 1990 he served the Arizona State Dental Board as Chief Investigator of the complaint department (with the last three years as Associate Director) while maintaining a general practice in Glendale. He presently serves as Executive Director of the Arizona Academy of General Dentistry and of the Academy of General Dentistry Region XIV. He has served the AGD on the Membership Council, Legislative and Governmental Affairs Council and the Dental Practice Council. Dr. Giordan is a life member of the ADA, AZDA, American Association of Endodontists, and Academy of Operative Dentistry, and is a member Emeritus of the AGD. He was recently appointed Division Coordinator of the Academy of General Dentistry Legislative and Government Affairs Council and the Dental Practice Council. He attained his Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1996. He is also a fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International and the International College of Dentists. Dr. Giordan served as President of Associated Dental Care Providers with offices in Tucson & Phoenix March 2008 to March 2010, where he practiced General Dentistry. He retired from general practice in April 2010 and joined Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine-Arizona as a full time Assistant Professor in May 2010.
