Rey Bergelin, D.D.S.

Clinical Assistant Professor

Dr. Bergelin received a B.S. in psychology in 1978 and then earned his D.D.S. in 1982 from the University of Michigan. Shortly after dental school, he and his wife moved to the Valley. Dr. Bergelin opened his own practice in 1983, in Chandler, later relocating to Gilbert. In the mid 1990’s he also worked part-time as a dental insurance consultant. From 2009 until 2015, Dr. Bergelin was a part-time pre-clinical adjunct faculty at The Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. He retired from practice in the spring of 2015 to become a full-time Assistant Professor of Clinical Dentistry at Midwestern University. Dr. Bergelin is a member of the American Dental Association, AZDA, CADS, and serves as secretary of the Arizona section of the American Association for Dental Research.
