Dr. Jackowski believes in providing education to empower patients. Prior to joining the Midwestern University College of Pharmacy—Glendale (CPG) faculty, Dr. Jackowski served as a faculty member at the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy and also has worked in a wide variety of pharmacy settings focused on medication therapy management. On campus, she teaches in the areas of public health and disease prevention, as well as diabetes. She is active in the American Pharmacists Association and the National Community Pharmacy Association. She has received the President’s Award from the Phoenix Chapter of the American Diabetes Association, the Excellence in Innovation Award from the Arizona Pharmacy Association, the CPG PS-1 Teacher of the Year Award in 2016, and the CPG Mentor of the Year Award in 2015.
