Patricia Gibbons, D.H.S., CCC-SLP
Patricia J. Gibbons D.H.S., CCC-SLP is an Associate Professor in the SLP Program at MWU. She teaches courses in dysphagia, voice and resonance disorders, clinical methods, phonological and articulatory disorders, and professional issues and ethics. Previous academic appointments have included faculty and adjunct faculty appointments at Rush University and Elmhurst College. Ms. Gibbons has worked in acute care teaching hospitals and rehabilitation hospitals, as well as in college and university outpatient clinics. She has worked with patients with a variety of disorders related to communication, including those involving voice, articulation, and adult language as well as with patients with swallowing problems.
