Pathik Amin, O.D., FAAO

Dr. Pathik Amin earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Arlington. He received his Doctorate of Optometry at the University of Houston. Dr. Amin completed a rigorous optometric residency in ocular disease at the Albuquerque VA Medical Center. Prior to joining Midwestern University, Dr. Amin was part of a referral-based ophthalmology practice in Dallas, where he diagnosed and treated glaucoma patients, provided consultative and acute eye care services, as well as peri-operative management of patients undergoing cataract, cornea, and glaucoma surgeries.

Dr. Amin has a keen interest in glaucoma care and research. He has published several peer-reviewed papers and is active in lecturing at continuing education events. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a member of the American Optometric Association.
