Mark Stieg, D.D.S., M.S.
Clinical Assistant Professor/Orthodontics
Dr. Stieg was raised in Scottsdale, Arizona and attended Arizona State University from 1978– 1981. After three years he was accepted to The Ohio State University where he received his DDS degree in 1985. Dr. Stieg graduated Summa Cum Laude and was accepted into the honorary fraternities of Omicron Kappa Upsilon and Phi Kappa Phi. He has received the International College of Dentists Award and several other awards for outstanding dentistry. After leaving Columbus he moved to Iowa City to attend The University of Iowa, where he earned his Masters Degree in Orthodontics. Dr. Stieg is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He also belongs to several professional and civic organizations and has been an active participant and leader. Professional organizations include; Member of College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics, past President of the Arizona Orthodontic Association, past board member of the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists and has been ranked by his peers among the top dentists in the valley from 2003 through 2018 in Phoenix Magazine. Civic organizations include; Past President of the Scottsdale Unified School District Foundation, Past President of the Scottsdale Charros and Past board member of the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce to name a few. He has been an Orthodontic instructor and lecturer for the University of Iowa, Guest lecturer for the Banner Health Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Residency program and does an annual review with the Orthodontic residents at Iowa to help them prepare for their American Board of Orthodontics examination. Dr. Stieg continues to practice in Scottsdale, Arizona and for thirty years he has enjoyed his patients and their families. Outside of his career, Dr. Stieg loves his family and is a skilled horseman and cowboy.
