Kelly Varney, OD, FAAO

Dr. Kelly Varney works in the pediatrics, vision therapy and primary care clinics at the Midwestern University Eye Institute. She joined Midwestern University after completing a postdoctoral residency in pediatric optometry and vision therapy at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Varney, a Chicago native, graduated from the University of Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology with a specialization in endocrinology. She earned her Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from the Illinois College of Optometry, where she was valedictorian of her class.
Dr. Varney has earned a Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry (AAO), and she is currently a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD).
