Janet Helminski, PT, Ph.D.

Professor

Dr. Helminski is a Professor at MWU. Her areas of expertise and research include Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), vestibular rehabilitation and postural control and balance.

She received a doctor of philosophy degree from Northwestern University’s Institute for Neuroscience, an advanced master of physical therapy degree from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy from Marquette University. She has lectured extensively on the treatment of patients with vestibular and balance dysfunction.
