MWU Multispecialty Clinic Welcomes Dr. C. Daniel Spezzacatena

Dr. Spezzacatena holds a Doctor of Psychology and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University in Phoenix, Arizona. He earned his Education Specialist in Mental Health Counseling and Master of Arts in Psychological Counseling from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. Dr. Spezzacatena completed his post-doctoral training/residency in neuropsychology at Arizona Neurological Services in Chandler, Arizona and in neuropsychology, behavioral medicine, and forensic neuropsychology at Desert Vista Neuropsychological Specialists/St. Luke’s Hospital.
Dr. Spezzacatena has primary certification in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT). His research interests include sports concussion, effort, and learned helplessness. He has served as a neuropsychological consultant, conducting pre-season and post-injury concussion assessments along with an Arizona Cardinals physician. He has also presented at conferences on the topic of effort/malingering.
